SHELTER BREAKFASTS CONTINUE PAST PROGRAM YEAR FOR ALUMNI AT OPEN DOOR MISSION

Every year, as part of Leadership Rochester's Who Takes Care of Whom Program Day, the class will serve a hot breakfast at various shelters in Rochester. A small group from the Calss of 2008 that visited Open Dor Mission decided to continue the service to this particular mission. The group meets on the last Friday of every month at 6:30am to cook breakfast for the 40 men who are able to benefit from the services the shelter provides. For the first year, each member of the group would donate the meal for that month. Now the current group, led by Carl Webeck '08 (RG&E) has secured sponsors through 2011 and two additional groups have formed to serve breakfast on alternate days.
